Karafarin Canada is an entrepreneurship network and a hub for entrepreneurs and innovators, who wish to connect with other like-minded professionals, and take their entrepreneurship journey to the next level. Karafarin also works closely with high profile investors and helps entrepreneurs convert their unique ideas into profitable businesses.

ORBiT Entrepreneurship Conference is the flagship event presented by Karafarin Canada and has been great opportunity for learning, sharing, exhibiting and networking with other entrepreneurs and investors in the past three years.

Mahboob Bolandi ​is a consummate, multi-faceted entrepreneur. He is a passionate Iranian-Canadian community leader, a social activist and engaged citizen. With over 15 years of experience in engineering, teaching, networking and community building, Mahboob’s aspirations drive his ambitions as a productive Iranian-Canadian. He graduated from Sharif University of Technology (aka MIT of Iran) in Materials Science and Engineering and subsequently became a full time faculty member at IAU university for four years. Mahboob moved to Canada in 2008 for his PhD studies at McMaster University in Materials Engineering.  His journey into the world of entrepreneurship began soon after graduating from McMaster university. Over the course of the next decade in Canada, Mahboob Bolandi has founded over 10 startups in different industries including;

• Co-Founder: AlazTech Inc., Innovative Fire Suppression Technology, Since 2019 (Patented)
• Co-founder: Exeer Inc., Nest Generation of Botanical Beverages, Since 2019
• Co-founder: PilotMind Org, Improving Lives Through Mindfulness, Since 2020
• Founder: ORBiTConf (Annual Entrepreneurship Conference) and ORBiT Talks, Since 2017

Mahboob enjoys making new connections and helping others grow in their social and professional life. He has worn many hats throughout his dynamic career giving him the unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary social and professional projects to tackle complex challenges. Mahboob has accumulated invaluable hands on experience in managing non-profits. Over the past decade, he has led several professional, cultural and community organizations in Canada. These include successful public organizations such as;
